Kua Aina Sandwich Shop

The burgers look and taste very good. Their sizes are quite good considering the price, but unfortunately we were unable to get the larger burger meat when we visited. The place was nice and quiet, and you can order using the machine, which seemed to also be available in both Japanese and English. We had a wait a little while for our food, so it wasn't a super fast food, but it's a great place for a calm dinner and a good chat with friends. The meat itself, cheese and vegetables seemed fresh and well-prepared. I can definitely recommend for anyone who likes proper burgers.

A great way to satisfy a burger craving. I ordered the chunky cheese and bacon burger with the larger patty size in a set meal and it was served open. A burger wrapper is provided to keep it in place. There are a large number of burger options on the menu. The burger was juicy, flavourful and felt well balanced. The side of fries was crispy and I did not feel like it was oily or greasy.

The burger is quite big as compared with Japanese chain burger restaurant. Of course the price is double or triple but the taste and satisfaction for the meal are worth for the money. Especially their fries is nice!

If you are in a hunt for a delicious burger with Hawaiian flair at Shibuya, Kua Aina Sandwich shop is one good place to try! Their burgers come with slices of delectable onion rings, thin and crispy fries and unlimited ketchup and mustard sauce. Since the burger shop showcases a Hawaiian vibe, I had to go for the Hawaiian pineapple burger. I must say that this is amazing both in size and in taste! The savory sauce, perfectly caramelized onion rings, fresh lettuce, grilled pineapple and juicy burger patty were a mouthful treat that I enjoyed very much! By the way, it also had slices of tomatoes; however, since I am not a fan of tomatoes, I had to remove them. No offense meant to the tomato lovers out there. :) In addition to that, you have three options for your burger/sandwich bread - brioche, kaiser roll, or multi-grain wheat. Highly customizable burgers and sandwiches at your own choice. The ambience is cool and relaxing and the furniture pieces adorn the shop with that of the pacific vibe! The servers were fantastic! A very calm escape from the busy office. The gentle island music over the speakers really take you away. The staff is helpful and professional. The food takes a little time to prepare but it's well worth the wait and the price. I had their smoked monterrey jack bacon burger with fries and apple juice. Quality ingredients and lovely presentation really elevated it from a simple hamburger shop. It was a lovely experience.

The portion is generous, the avocado was perfectly ripe. I wished I tried the teriyaki flavour because the meat was a tiny bit too dry. I'd still have it again though.
